Glacier ice moves in both subtle and dramatic ways – from the slow creep of cold ice sheets to the abrupt calving events observed where the ice meets the ocean. I am interested in the dynamics of this ice flow. My research focuses on the technologies we can use to measure and model the flow of ice, as well as the theory of ice dynamics.
